What is Brainspotting and how can it help?
Brainspotting is one of the most effective trauma techniques developed to process trauma stuck in your brain and body. It harnesses your brain’s self-healing capacity in a direct, effective way that is quick and thorough. In the 4 years I’ve been practicing Brainspotting, I’ve seen clients shift painful, long-held issues in miraculous ways. They feel an undeniable inner shift that translates to changing feelings and patterns in their life. Clients have experienced more patience with a difficult parent, greater self-confidence at work, a lessening of physical pain, relief from the constriction of grief and much more.
Brainspotting helps heal:

How does it work?
Brainspotting works directly with your unconscious brain patterns, so it heals at a deeper level than talk therapy. It bypasses the conscious, neocortical thinking to access the deeper, subcortical emotional and body-based parts of the brain. By using eye gazing positions, we access and focus on a particular trauma in the brain. This helps to unwind the traumatic brain patterns and create room for new positive responses.
